About the artist
Why I chose this peice
Pablo Picasso was born in Spain in 1881, he had formal art training, and was greatly inspired by his father, who was an art teacher. Although he learned traditional art forms, he became bored with those styles, which is part of the reason he started to make Cubism style art. Cubism uses geometric shapes to make art.
I liked this piece because it shows a different perspective than how we normally see people. It's unrealistic, and the faces are distorted, but it is still beautiful and meaningful. I also feel like it is a very Picasso peice, that shows his perspective and expression
